Like new John Deere 5103 Tractor with loader. Bought new late fall 07 , used to mow and push around sand.176 hours..Never worked a hard day in its whole life.On May-19-12 at 13:25:36 PDT, seller added the following information: Have owners manuel still in package

1984 Ford 1910 diesel 4 wheel drive tractor, I am the second owner. When I purchased this machine the hours meter showed 762 hours and after tearing the engine down for a rebuild and examining the minor amount of wear on the engine internals, that number of hours would be correct. When the original owners stopped using this tractor, they parked it, covered the stack and let it sit for 15+ years. The top of the muffler housing rusted away over the years and the cylinders suffered water intrusion. When I tore it down I couldn’t believe how nice everything was inside but I figured I’ve gone this far so lets just do it right. The head was sent to the shop where they magna-fluxed it, checked it for pressure leaks and replaced all freeze plugs, it was milled .0015 to clean up the mating surface. The valves and seats were reground, the valve spring pressures were set to spec. I had the crankshaft turned .010” and had the correct radiuses ground as well. (It really didn’t need turning but since I was in there...) The following was replaced with all new Genuine Ford New Holland parts; absolutely no aftermarket junk parts were used in the rebuilding of this engine. All gaskets and seals, main bearings, rod bearings, oil pressure relief valve. The rods were re-bushed and bored c to c. The cylinders, cylinder o-rings, piston rings were replaced; the pistons were still in excellent condition so they were reinstalled. The correct head gasket for headspace was installed. The front and rear main crankshaft bushings and camshaft end plug were replaced. I blueprinted the oil pump and returned it to spec. The fuel injectors were replaced with new Genuine Ford New Holland injectors $$$. The clutch disks were sent to Carolina Brake and Clutch and both disks in the double clutch were relined. The pressure plate and spring plates were in excellent condition. I set the double clutch pack up myself and it functions perfectly. The transmission seal and the throw out bearing were replaced (Genuine Ford). The muffler and thermostat are new Ford parts. All new filters and fluids are Ford as well. I installed an oil pressure gauge and it keeps 60psi at idle. The only issues with this tractor are: the lights don’t work, the differential lock is rusted in the up position, the flange on the front differential housing that the tube slides into (the tube that covers the driveshaft for the front wheel drive, this is a “dry” driveshaft, i.e.; no oil in the tube) is broken and the front differential seal should be replaced (this requires the front end to be pulled off. 4 bolts, 2 radiator hoses, air cleaner and a tie rod and you can walk away with the front end.) You could replace the flange or braze it up. I suspect this is why the seal started to leak, dirt and grit got in there. This is the only leak on the tractor and it only leaks if you fill the front differential up and run it in 4WD. The 4WD works and runs quietly but I never really used it that much to really test it. I only put about 10 hours on the machine over the last two years, the engine isn’t even broken in yet, it needs to be broken in under load, like cutting heavy, tall grass. All time I put on the engine was under load except for running to the field and back, (cool down) etc. The battery was purchased at the end of 2009 so it probably has a couple more years left in it; it has always been stored indoors in a heated building during winter. The hydraulic lift has become slow and a little jumpy for some reason. It was working perfectly when I last used it, it’s probably time for a fluid/filter change or flushing. The front tires are in good shape, I’d say 50% except for some weather checking. The rear tires aren’t as good, showing maybe 15% tread and weather checked but they do hold air very long term. The 4 wheel weights mounted on the rear are included in the sale. I had a friend of mine who owns a body shop repair and shoot the hood for me. He said it should have been dipped, he was right. Some of the paint is lifting in a few areas but it was shot with a 2 part product so touching it up shouldn’t bee too bad. He still owes me a quart of paint for the loader. The grill has a couple of holes but is reasonably straight “now”. The implements that come with the tractor are as follows. A Landpride FDR1572, 6 foot finish mower. A post hole digger, a 3 point, one point ripper, a disk that needs to be put back together (why it’s apart I’ll never know, looks ok to me, just needs reassembly) a three point one bottom plow with a good condition share, a 770B loader and the draw bar. The Landpride mower needs to be rebuilt. I have 6 new spindle bearings, 4 pulleys and the belt to rebuild it, they are included. Two of the wheels and tires on the mower are new the other two will leak down over time. The post hole digger is a new, never used Leinbach. I don’t know who made the disk and plow, looks like a genuine Ford plow to me though. Disk(s) still have plenty of meat on them, looks like it was never really used; I think it just needs to be put back together. The loader is rusted but there are no holes in the frame or bucket that I could see. The two front cylinders are shot and need replacing/rebuilding, so do the lines and hoses. The rear cylinders look ok but could probably use a once over. All mounting brackets are included. I never used the loader so I can’t really comment on it any further. I had planned to rebuild and paint it and the tractor and use it as a backup machine but just don’t have the time. All this machine does is sit and it needs to go to a good home where someone will appreciate it and give it some work. It is running in the pictures. I have been as honest as possible about the details of this machine and the accompanying implements included in the sale. The tractor and implements are sold as is, no warranty, no refunds, no returns or credits. It’s a good machine and an excellent place to start if you are looking to get a decent package for your farm. I really didn’t want to part with it, knowing exactly what has been done to it and the few remaining things that need to be completed to make it nice but letting it sit is starting to hurt more than letting it go. I have all receipts for parts and Genuine Ford manuals (service and user manuals) are included in the sale (not pictured). I own and run a machine shop and have rebuilt many engines over the last 30 years, this one I rebuilt for myself. It runs like a top, the drive train is quiet and it blows just the right amount of black under load (injection pump is timed perfectly) A real decent, low hours machine that just need a little more TLC and some paint to make it complete. John Deere 5510 2 wheel drive tractor with Alamo boom arm mower. Municpally owned from new! Tractor is a 2001 and has a well maintained 7536 hours. The machine has a cab with heat, A/C (works well!) and a radio. The tractor has an 89hp. turbocharged diesel engine (75 pto hp.) and a power reverser transmission. The 3 point hitch and PTO are complete and work well. The machine starts, stops, runs and works as it should. The shifter for the ranges rotates and probably needs a pin of some sort, but easily changes gears as it should. The mower is an Alamo and it also works well. It has the brush/ wood style blades (see pic). The bottom roller on the cutter needs new bearings (see pics) and there are some welds on the mower, none on the tractor. There aren't any leaks on anything! Tires are excellent, but one rear tire shows some wear. The battery is near new, there is no smoke or other problems.
